The overlord
Steam rose from the hot water around me, as if to secure me in its blanket of gentle caress. The heat from both the water and the steam penetrated my bare skin; that very heat causing sensations I had felt, and still believe I feel, before. Blood pooled around my feet and a toothy grin spread across my face, the presence of a canine tooth making itself known by pressing against my lip. My fingers moved up my body, toward where blood was escaping freely from my neck, and I closed my eyes, remembering the moment.
Dark sky loomed overhead, the clouds tumbling together to form a close-knit army; a dark, aggressive army. A long coat fluttered around the ankles of a man who was walking boldly up the middle of the road. The coat blew at the mercy of a sudden wind and I, entranced into watch him, merely stood there captivated by his mysteriousness. A loud thumping ripped across the sky, roaring wildly as if it were alive with a voice of its own. The clouds moved closer together, growing darker than I had ever seen before, more aggressive than they were moments ago.
Mysterious as he was, he seemed powerful, foreboding and I watched him drop to his knees in front of me. Without even so much as a glance toward my face, I felt his mouth pressed to my ankle, yet without another moment’s passing, I felt his mouth and his tongue moving up the inside of my leg. Rain spilled from the barrier of darkened sky soldiers and he persisted in climbing the lengths of velvet, white flesh. A hand firmly slid up the side of my left leg, with forcefulness and precision; he had overwhelmingly great control and it showed when his hand stopped, grabbing the cheek of my ass firmly.
Yet still, his mouth and tongue journeyed further, familiarising itself with the taste of human skin. In unison his mouth and hands moved together, hands along my back and mouth along my stomach toward my chest as I heard him grow hungrier, an appetite of desire. Even still I could not see the eyes of he who was taking me over; that mysteriousness remained as he denied me that simple right. Ominous clouds continued to pour down a shower of merciless water that fell upon us both, with him not ceasing to stop.
My chest had passed his lips within moments as his hands snaked their way to my shoulders, then to my neck; a hand smoothly taking my head by my jaw and turning my face away from him. He fiendishly exposed my neck, his mouth lingering inches away from my flesh, with him, barely able to contain himself any longer. Then, with firm grasp of my jaw, he moved in, his teeth biting firmly down and simultaneously the sky thundered, sending a deafening sound that echoed powerfully. I felt the slight tickle of warm blood screaming quickly down my neck as it mixed with the rain that pelted, perhaps heavier than before, from above.
He spent several moments, at first biting my neck before making more delicate movements, as if to make love to my throat with his mouth and then finally releasing me and turning on his heel. The bottom of his coat flicked fluently behind him, spraying its own collection of gathered moisture into my face as I stood and watched him walk back down the middle of the street. Not once had he looked at me, nor did he look back. Not once had he said a word. I licked my lips and I felt my tongue slide over more predominantly sharper teeth that I didn’t possess before. I had an appetite I needed to satisfy.

The first two paragraphs were the best. They were powerful and really, if you don’t mind me saying so, arousing. Highly charged. Careful wandering into the territory of vampires though, you might meet other dark, mysterious strangers with powers over the clouds and your skin.

Another great entry by you, keep up the great work

Hm, I saw something like this coming with your previous posts.
Makes me feel like being a vampire for awhile. Heh, perhaps I’ve been playing too much Castlevania DS/GBA.

If you look into it enough, it teeters on the borderline of ‘wolf’ or ‘vampire’. The choice is yours to see it how you wish to read it.
Only after you mentioning this do I begin to make the slight connections. Regardless, it wasn’t all that intentional of me but an amusing coincidence nonetheless.

Most serious writers one day or the other wander in those territories. Vampires and wolves, dark skies and blood. Consequence of excessive gaming?
Your words are terribly appealing.

See, Jax? I told you! You two really ought to stop talking about me so much.

Sorry to disappoint you darling but we rarely discuss you or your ass.
We talk more about his ass than anything else.

This shall be the new location of my own blog, with a few adjustments that I’m sure you’ve noticed. I wonder, how did you find the new location? I have yet to publish it anywhere except for one comment on Jax‘s blog. (Speaking of whom was kind enough to provide me with this space. Thanks again, Jax.) It isn’t important how you found this place, I’m merely curious.
Am I missing something, because I checked both my Gmail addresses and have yet to find an e-mail in my inbox. Unless, of course, I’m mistaking one e-mail in my spam inbox as actual spam, as opposed to your e-mail. For the sake of convenience, what was the e-mails subject line?

i’ve emailed you about it.. subject line: ‘the email’
enjoy

Like always, what a lovely story.
But hey take the time for a trick or treat! Happy Halloween!

I had gotten the impression that this story was about wolves. Either way, it was extremely riveting. I was actually hoping for it to be much longer than it really is; I could even see this becoming a short story (short stories to me being around 200 pages, of course). Again, that was excellent.
